What We Collect

TipStage ("we", "us") collects the following data:

• Performers: Name, email (via StanHattie ID), profile information you provide (bio, photos, social links, location), Stripe account connection status.
• Tippers: Optional name and email (if provided), tip amount, IP address (hashed with daily rotating salt - we never store raw IPs), approximate location (city/country from IP lookup), browser user agent.
• Followers: Email address.

How We Use Your Data

• Process tip payments via Stripe
• Display performer profiles to the public
• Provide analytics to performers (aggregate, privacy-preserving)
• Send notifications if you opted in (followers)
• Improve the service

Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Keycloak (StanHattie ID): Authentication. Self-hosted, no third-party sharing.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Data Retention

Performer profiles and tip records are retained while your account is active. IP hashes use daily rotating salt and cannot be reversed after one day. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie for authentication. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics cookies.
